Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of patient health information
  • Process and scan patient health information in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assist in the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a health record department in an acute care facility
  • Proficiency in Meditech scanning of patient records
  • Demonstrated knowledge of terminal digit filing
  • Excellent computer literacy and typing skills
  • Knowledge of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis processes
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of medical terminology an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
