Job Title: Health Information Services Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Health Information Services Clerk to join our team at Humber River Health. As a Health Information Services Clerk, you will be responsible for processing and scanning patient health information, performing quantitative and qualitative analysis, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

Responsibilities:
  • Process and scan patient health information
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a health record department in an acute care facility
  • Previous experience with Meditech scanning of patient records
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Terminal Digit Filing
  • Computer literacy (Meditech proficient)
  • Typing skills of 40 wpm
  • Knowledge of medical terminology an asset
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal English skills
