Inventory Control Coordinator

Job Description:
As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods through our warehouse. This includes unloading and processing incoming shipments, accurately receiving and storing merchandise in our inventory management system.
Key Tasks:
- Unload and process incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and completeness before storing merchandise in our inventory management system.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues with orders, collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision, utilizing voice or scanner technology to optimize efficiency and minimize errors.
- Loading route trucks with product, utilizing roller carts or manual labor as needed to meet deadlines.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all facility regulations and safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Attend regular team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and share best practices, staying informed about company initiatives and goals.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Returning to school full-time in the fall, with a focus on maintaining a strong academic record and minimizing disruption to studies.
- Able to work flexible shifts and varying workweeks, including afternoons and weekends as required to meet business needs.
- Demonstrated experience in fast-paced environments, with ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Effective communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide excellent customer service.
- Takes ownership of tasks assigned, with a proactive approach to resolving issues and improving processes to drive business results.
- Able to work under pressure, meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
- Previous warehouse experience is an asset, but not required; willingness to learn and develop skills essential for success in this role.
