**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Specialist to join our team at Dynacare. In this role, you will be responsible for managing procurement processes, system maintenance, and vendor coordination to ensure smooth purchasing operations.

Key responsibilities include processing electronic requisitions, logging order confirmations, conducting market research, and maintaining ERP item data. The Supply Specialist will also be involved in troubleshooting requisition and Purchase order issues, managing supply users and approvers, and updating inventory consumption data.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  1. Process electronic requisitions through the Great Plains System.
  2. Log and enter all order confirmations.
  3. Conduct market research and obtain quotes as per requests from departments.
  4. New GP item set-up and maintenance.
  5. System maintenance (add/remove location or item in GP and ServiceNow).
  6. Identify and fix any requisition and ServiceNow order issues with ITSS, users, and system setup.
  7. Manage Office Supplies user/approver.
  8. Update weekly/monthly inventory consumption data for warehouse inventory sheet.
  9. Provide quarterly purchasing reports to the ordering group.
  10. Set up new locations with Lab coat/Mats vendor for the ordering group.
  11. Work collaboratively with internal customers to develop and maintain positive relations.
  12. Balance the completion of multiple corporate priorities and transactional procurement activities to achieve a successful outcome for both areas.
  13. Ensure all documentation is filed as per defined process and maintain data in the Great Plains purchasing system.
  14. Work with vendors to return excess inventory and wrong products for credits against payables account using Return Authorization Guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, materials management, technical or related discipline.
  • Experience in MRP/ERP Systems desired.
  • Strong computer skills, with an emphasis on MS Office/Excel.
  • Materials Management certification is preferable.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset.
