Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Chief Engineer to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's technical systems and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all technical systems and facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery, ensuring that they are functioning efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets to ensure that all technical systems and facilities are properly maintained.
- Supervise and train technical staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments, including engineering, maintenance, and operations, to ensure that all technical systems and facilities are properly maintained and operated.
- Conduct regular inspections of all technical systems and facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce energy consumption and costs.
- Ensure that all technical systems and facilities are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage and maintain all technical documentation, including maintenance records and technical specifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a technical operations role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of technical systems and facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with energy management systems and energy-saving initiatives.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
- Experience with technical documentation and record-keeping.
- Ability to speak multiple languages, including English.
