Security Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Manager to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, colleagues, and assets.
Key Responsibilities- Foster a culture of excellence, respect, integrity, and caring within the security team.
- Lead and guide the security team to provide exceptional service to all team members.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the security department, ensuring effective implementation of security measures.
- Supervise the work of security staff from an outsourcing company, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Implement training methods to ensure the security team is familiar with standards and can apply them effectively.
- Responsible for training all newly hired employees in fire safety and first aid.
- Cooperate with other hotel security agencies and law enforcement agencies to investigate security issues.
- Act as a liaison within the community and policing forces to maintain awareness of current security issues.
- Complete daily security reports and perform lock audits as required.
- Manage the departmental budget, balancing operational, administrative, and colleague needs.
- Assist guests with hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way.
- Follow department policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Follow all safety policies.
- Previous leadership experience in a similar role is required.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is required.
- A university/college degree in a related discipline is preferred.
- Knowledge of security equipment, such as radios, cameras, and electronic lock systems, is required.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications is required.
- A professional presentation and strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities are essential.
- Highly responsible and reliable, with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
