Job Title: Systems Analyst – Intermediate

Job Summary:

Donna Cona Inc. is seeking a skilled Systems Analyst – Intermediate to join our team. As a key member of our data governance team, you will work closely with our clients to create a Proof of Concept (POC) that aligns with their metadata strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to establish a data catalog and business glossary, tagging, and metadata necessary to meet the standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of data governance principles and apply them to create a robust data catalog.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and categorize metadata, ensuring accurate and consistent tagging.
  • Utilize Microsoft Purview Data Catalog Portal to create and manage metadata, including technical, business, and operational metadata.
  • Work with the team to analyze and solve complex data-related problems, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Monitor and test data catalog functionalities and environments to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data governance, metadata management, and data cataloging.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, data classification, and handling standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Excel, Purview, and Databricks, with minimal SQL coding experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and technical experts.
