Job Title: Painter and Decorator

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at EDM General Contracting Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and painting surfaces to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
  • Mix and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as needed.
  • Advise clients on colours and choice of wall coverings.
  • Estimate costs and materials for painting projects.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in painting and decorating.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various locations.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours.
