Job Title: Transport Truck Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Transport Truck Mechanic to join our team at T&R Truck Repair Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service and repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
Requirements:
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Work Environment:

Our team works in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to handle heavy loads. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a variety of weather conditions.
