Job Summary

T&R Truck Repair Limited is seeking a skilled Transport Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, including adjustments, repairs, and replacements of parts and components.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and diagnose issues using computerized and other testing equipment.
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components as needed, and perform scheduled maintenance service.
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and complete reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Provide customer service and ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification and Red Seal Endorsement.
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 3 or D).
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field of employment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
