Job Summary

T&R Truck Repair Limited is seeking a skilled Transport Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other critical systems.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
  • Review work orders and complete reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Provide customer service and advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
Requirements
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification and Red Seal Endorsement.
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 3 or D).
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field of employment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
