About the Role

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a skilled Warehouse Associate to join our team. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment and ensuring that merchandise is stocked efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining Aisle Cleanliness: Ensure that aisles are free from clutter and obstacles, allowing customers to navigate safely and easily.
  • Stocking Merchandise: Stock merchandise onto shelves to achieve 100% in stock levels, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Packing-Out and Packing-Down Merchandise: Pack merchandise as directed, and ensure that products are not damaged during transit.
  • Maintaining Overheads: Organize overheads to ensure that merchandise is accessible and presented in a visually appealing manner.

Ensuring Customer Satisfaction

  • FOLLOWING HOME DEPOT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE MODEL: Greet, Engage, and Thank customers, following all safety and loss prevention policies and procedures.
  • Communicating with Customers: Ask open-ended questions about customers' projects to determine their needs and level of expertise.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in retail or distribution preferred.
  • Certifications: None required.
