As a Dryvan Dispatcher, you'll be responsible for managing all aspects of dispatching, working closely with our Operations team to ensure seamless execution. Your primary focus will be on effectively coordinating movements, negotiating with customers, and resolving any operational challenges that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for a designated portfolio of customers, ensuring efficient and timely movements that meet their specific needs.
  • Skillfully negotiate, book, and coordinate movements, including managing the dispatching of trucks for optimal scheduling and delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations team to ensure the seamless execution of dispatch, addressing any operational challenges that may impact delivery timelines.
  • Provide comprehensive and satisfactory responses to customer inquiries related to dispatch, resolving any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Continuously strive to achieve the highest level of dispatch efficiency, promptly addressing any issues that may impact delivery timelines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Dispatcher.
  • Familiarity with TMW (Transportation Management System) considered an asset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, enabling effective communication with customers and internal teams.
  • Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team to achieve shared dispatch goals and targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
