Intermodal Logistics Operations Manager

Job Summary:
Pivotal Integrated HR Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intermodal Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, quoting and booking spot shipments, and ensuring the highest level of customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Account Management: Manage customer accounts from all aspects, including quoting, booking, and closing orders.
- Logistics Coordination: Ensure the smooth coordination of intermodal logistics operations, including customs and shipping paperwork.
- Margin Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve margins through various methods, including optimizing routes and reducing costs.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with customer volume expectations and investigate any shortfalls.
- Communication: Respond quickly to customer requests and be available after hours to assist with resolving issues.
- Delivery and Security: Follow up on delivery delays or security issues and ensure that all audit requirements are completed.
- Order Closure: Ensure that all orders are closed in the TMS system within 24 hours of delivery.
- Carrier Management: Ensure that carriers are qualified in our TMS and RMIS systems.
- Relationship Building: Grow and maintain existing and new carrier or customer relationships.
- Attention to Detail: Perform work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail, ensuring that all information is properly communicated to peers.
