Government Policy Advisor for iGaming Initiatives

We are seeking a highly skilled Government Policy Advisor to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. As a key member of our policy development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of iGaming in Alberta.
The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex policy issues, developing creative solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive effective policy change.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies related to online gambling, revenue management, and social responsibility.
- Collaborate with government ministries, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure policy alignment and effectiveness.
- Analyze data and financial reports to inform policy decisions and recommendations.
- Prepare high-quality policy documents, briefings, and presentations for Cabinet and legislative purposes.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of public policy, economics, and law, supplemented by four years of experience in policy analysis and development. A Master's degree is preferred but not required.
