Development Miner

Cementation Canada is seeking a skilled Development Miner to join our team. As a Development Miner, you will be responsible for conducting underground mining operations, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment, and maintaining a high standard of housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct underground mining operations, including inspecting existing headings, installing rock bolts, and operating various equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and local regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a safe and efficient working environment, and actively participate in the team safety program.
- Communicate with supervisors and other crew members to ensure a synergy required to accomplish shift line-ups.
- Ensure applicable procedures and work standards are understood, adhered to, and complied with at all times.
- Pre-employment drug, alcohol, and medical testing.
- Criminal Record Check (if applicable).
- Full Basic Underground Common Core.
- Minimum 2 years related work experience.
- CWB Certification considered an asset.
- WHMIS.
- Fall Arrest.
- First Aid Certification.
- Working at Heights.
