About the Job

This role will be responsible for performing regular preventative maintenance on tools, machines, equipment, and plant facilities. You will conduct routine inspections, diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and maintain equipment records.

You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is up-to-date.

Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a maintenance or technical role
  • Skills: Strong mechanical skills, ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, and knowledge of welding and metal fabrication
  • Certifications: Valid Class 5 Driver's License and Operator certification for forklifts
Work Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and operate machinery. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
