Operations Manager Job Description

MONTANA'S BBQ AND BAR is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant and ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of 16-20 staff members in various areas of responsibility, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Operational Planning: Develop and implement operational plans to achieve business objectives, including setting goals, establishing priorities, and allocating resources.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial performance of the restaurant, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, responding to feedback and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that the restaurant operates in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, hospitality, or management.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a management or leadership role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team, manage budgets and finances, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
