Job Title: Senior Proposal Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Proposal Coordinator to join our team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our proposal development team, you will play a critical role in researching prospective projects, leading proposal preparation, and collaborating with consultants and business development teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement proposal development processes and methodologies
  • Manage proposal response efforts, including coordinating meetings and serving as the central point of communication for the proposal response team
  • Participate in proposal strategy and review meetings, ensuring a uniform and coherent appearance of submissions
  • Write various proposal sections, including executive summaries, project descriptions, matrices, and CVs
  • Collaborate with other proposal coordinators, graphic designers, technical resources, and legal professionals to complete and submit proposals
  • Conduct post-proposal evaluations and client debriefs to improve the proposal process
  • Manage and maintain proposal databases, files, and systems
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, professional writing, business administration, or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in proposal development or a similar environment, preferably in Engineering Consulting or Professional Services firms
  • Self-motivated with the initiative to go above and beyond the task at hand
  • Effective multitasker with strong English language and writing skills, including attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit material
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite
