About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Proposal Coordinator to join our national proposal team in the National Capital Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for researching prospective projects, leading proposal preparation, and collaborating with consultants and the business development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement proposal development processes and methodologies
  • Manage the proposal response effort, including coordinating meetings and serving as the central point of communication for the proposal response team
  • Participate in proposal strategy and review meetings, ensuring a uniform and coherent appearance of the submission
  • Write various proposal sections, including executive summaries, project descriptions, matrices, and CVs
  • Collaborate with other proposal coordinators, graphic designers, technical resources, and legal professionals to complete and submit the proposal
  • Conduct post-proposal evaluations and client debriefs to obtain insights for improving the proposal process
  • Manage and maintain the proposal database, files, and systems through appropriate information management systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, professional writing, business administration, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in proposal development or a similar environment, preferably in Engineering Consulting or Professional Services firms
  • Self-motivated with the initiative to go above and beyond the task at hand
  • Effective multitasker with strong English language and writing skills, including attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit material
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain strong, positive internal and external relationships
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite
