Learning Experience Designer

Apex Systems is a global IT services provider. Our staffing practice has an opening for a Learning Experience Designer with a background in change management, training and communications to place at our client, a Big 5 bank.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating learning solutions that increase adoption of new ways of working. This includes simplifying complex concepts into simple, practical advice pieces, delivering high-quality learning solutions, and facilitating learning across diverse groups.
Main Responsibilities:
- Simplifying Complex Concepts: Utilize marketing and communication skills to translate complex ideas into clear, concise language for various audiences.
- Facilitating Learning Solutions: Design and deliver innovative learning solutions that meet complex needs, engaging remote groups using virtual technologies.
- Design and Development: Create diverse learning solutions to cater to different learning styles and objectives, collaborating with stakeholders to research content and make recommendations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Learning and Development or Change Management
- Background in communications, creating storyboards, full-scale articles, presentation decks, and one-pager FAQs
- Experience with virtual learning technologies and tools to enhance learner experience and engagement
Location: Hybrid – Thursday. Downtown Toronto (37.5 hours per week)
Durations: 6-12 month contract, with a high possibility to extend or convert
Salary: Estimated $60-$80 per hour, depending on experience, leading to a total compensation of approximately $120,000 - $160,000 per year.
