Swine Production Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Swine Production Specialist to join our team at El-Tigre Farms. The successful candidate will be responsible for the health and well-being of our livestock, ensuring the highest standards of animal care and welfare.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat livestock health issues
- Monitor animal health and behavior
- Perform livestock feeding and care tasks
- Assist with pig littering activities, including clipping needle teeth, docking tails, and administering medication
- Set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns and pens
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in animal husbandry or a related field
- First Aid Certificate
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
