Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist

IR Canada Sales and Service is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing the requirements of our establishments to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services
  • Assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased
  • Negotiate offers from suppliers
  • Consult with suppliers
  • Review quotations
  • Determine contract terms and conditions
  • Award contracts to appropriate parties
  • Establish delivery schedules
  • Monitor progress of delivery schedules
  • Contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in this field of employment
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
