KREATER INC is seeking a highly skilled Truck Systems Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced mechanic with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, repairing or replacing parts and components as needed, and ensuring that all work is completed to manufacturer's specifications.

You will also be responsible for estimating parts and labour costs, performing scheduled maintenance services, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • 3+ years of experience in truck repair and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment and follow all safety protocols when working on vehicles.
