This key position plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient flow of vehicles through all stages of repair. The successful candidate will be responsible for parts receiving and returns, as well as maintaining a well-organized parts room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, both internally and externally, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Support shop management in alignment with The Craftsman Way (TCW) principles.
  • Utilize company dashboard tools to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Participate actively in daily production meetings.
  • Ensure accurate part reception and matching.
  • Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Enter parts and sublet invoices, and confirm margins using the Craftsman Management System.
  • Organize parts carts, staging areas, and the parts room in accordance with The Craftsman Way.
  • Update parts cart tags as required.
  • Deliver parts to stakeholders as needed.
  • Efficiently complete returns prior to file closure.
  • Collaborate with Shop Managers to ensure compliance with health and safety, quality, and employment standards regulations.
  • Contribute to the goal of closing all files within 24 hours of vehicle delivery.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field is an asset.
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening skills.
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated time management, problem-solving, critical thinking, and sound judgment skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, with the ability and willingness to learn new applications.
  • Demonstrated desire and aptitude for learning and development.
  • Interest in vehicles and the automotive industry.
  • A valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract over the last 3 years.
  • Licenses must not have any restrictions.
