Job Description

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of parts and materials through our facility, ensuring that our technicians have the necessary tools and components to provide top-notch service for our valued customers.

  • Manage inventory levels and ensure parts availability to support daily operations;
  • Order, receive, and track parts and supplies, maintaining accurate records;
  • Coordinate with suppliers to establish proper delivery schedules and resolve discrepancies;
  • Support technicians with parts sourcing and provide expert knowledge on parts applications;
  • Assist in maintaining an organized parts room, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards;
  • Monitor inventory depletion and forecast upcoming parts needs;
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory and audit procedures to ensure accuracy;
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries related to parts and services;
  • Collaborate with the Estimators to manage part orders based on repair plans;
  • Assist with training new staff on parts management systems and processes;

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a relevant field is an asset;
  • Familiarity with automotive parts and terminology, with a strong attention to detail;
  • Proficient in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Effective communication skills with a strong customer service focus;
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment;
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to parts management is an asset;
  • Must have a valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract over the last 3 years;
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions;
