Job Title: Service Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Manager to join our team at Brandt. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing the sales and delivery of heavy-duty equipment after-market support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage service workflow and ensure that all aspects of the service department are running smoothly.
- Enforce standards, policies, and reporting practices to establish high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and manage the Service Department budget to meet financial and operational goals.
- Prepare quotes for customer work orders and open and close work orders efficiently.
- Inspect and operate customer equipment to resolve concerns and diagnose issues.
- Monitor service revenue and expenses monthly to ensure financial stability.
- Ensure that all work is performed according to established safety and industry standards.
- Review employee performance against goals on an ongoing basis and provide coaching and mentoring as needed.
Requirements:
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally with customers, employees, and branch personnel at all levels.
- Self-motivated in learning and applying new knowledge and skills and willing to share knowledge with others.
- Ability to travel to customer worksites and work on or around heavy equipment as required.
- Proficient in using work-related desktop applications and web-based productivity applications.
- Confidence, critical thinking, knowledge, and technical skills to assess and solve customer, business, and personnel problems effectively and efficiently.
- A recent driver's abstract will be required.
