About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at ParaMed. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their homes, enabling them to live safely and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Travel to clients' residences to provide care and support
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Previous experience in a care-giving role is an asset
