Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting senior designers, producing compelling presentations, ensuring work aligns with design excellence standards, and coordinating with suppliers and project consultants.

As a Junior Interior Designer, you will work on various tasks such as space planning, 2D and 3D design concepts, research, and presentation of finishes and furnishings.

You will also assist in the preparation of documentation, including detailed layout drawings and schedules, and support the Design Development & Contract Documents process.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree or diploma from a CIDA accredited Interior Design program
  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience with Hotel and Food & Beverage and/or multi-unit residential interior design experience
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Windows, and 3D graphic programs such as Sketch-up, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.

A solid portfolio of diverse creative projects with emphasis in Hospitality, residential, and F&B design or other interior design sectors is required. You must be passionate about design, have a positive outlook, be collaborative, and patient.

Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
