Transformative Senior Interior Design Role

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Interior Designer to lead our Vancouver-based team in delivering exceptional hospitality design solutions. As a key member of our CHIL Interior Design studio, you will be responsible for driving creative success and excellence in high-performance projects.

  • Cultivate innovative designs that exceed client expectations.
  • Foster strong relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and regulators.

About the Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have experience leading multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring design excellence aligns with our studio standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop compelling presentations using industry-leading software like Adobe Creative suite.
  • Represent the team in client meetings and presentations, providing exceptional communication skills.
  • Mentor junior interior designers and technicians, promoting knowledge sharing and growth.
  • Meet project deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Liaise with suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to deliver project milestones on time.
  • Manage project schedules, collaborate with a Project Manager as needed, and provide space planning that meets program requirements and design considerations.
  • Support internal teams on various projects and foster open communication throughout the organization.

About the Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree or diploma from a CIDA-accredited Interior Design program, with a minimum of 10 years of Interior Design experience and 7 years of industry experience in hotel and food & beverage, or multi-unit residential interior design. NCIDQ certification is preferred, along with solid knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative suite, and 3D graphic programs. Previous experience with Revit is an asset.

  • A robust portfolio showcasing diverse creative projects with an emphasis in Hospitality, residential, and F&B design.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

What We Offer

In exchange for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
