Job Title: Senior Radio Frequency Systems Specialist

ADGA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Radio Frequency Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support in the design, development, and implementation of radio frequency systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop radio frequency systems and subsystems, including low frequency, medium frequency, high frequency, very high frequency, and ultra high frequency systems.
  • Perform engineering design, system integration, test, and analysis, as well as systems design and development.
  • Write project technical documentation, including statements of work, statements of requirements, and technical specifications, for IM/IT projects valued at $5M or more.
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and support upgrades to radio frequency systems and subsystems, including low frequency, medium frequency, high frequency, very high frequency, and ultra high frequency systems.
  • Verify and validate testing with RF laboratory test equipment, including satellite tests such as satellite/platform assembly integration and test, satellite/platform testing, in-orbit test, DC & RF harness design, platform and payload layout.
  • Perform RF circuitry layout, construction, troubleshooting, calibration, and design.
Requirements:
  • Education: An Engineering or Science degree from a recognized Canadian University, or a non-Canadian Engineering or Science degree accredited by one of the following institutions: Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials (CICIC), World Education Services (WES), or University of Toronto Comparative Education Services.
  • Experience: A minimum of ten years within the last twenty years of experience as a Radio Frequency Systems Specialist, with a minimum of five years within the last ten years of experience in writing project technical documentation, performing engineering design, system integration, test, and analysis, and performing at least one of the following: maintenance, repairs, and support upgrades to radio frequency systems and subsystems, verification and validation testing with RF laboratory test equipment, or RF circuitry layout, construction, troubleshooting, calibration, and design.
