Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team as a Technical Services Representative. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our technical foundation, from manufacturing to end-use. You will work closely with various functions, including Sales and Marketing, Product Development, and Field Operations, to gain a deeper understanding of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe execution of all aspects of your role, adhering to Lafarge safety policies.
  • Analyze and compare concrete test results with standards, tolerances, and targets to ensure product performance.
  • Provide regular feedback on product performance and deviations to the Technical Director.
  • Participate in cross-functional product quality committees and stay up-to-date on Lafarge and competitive product performance.
  • Assist in R&D projects by coordinating product development efforts between sales and production.
  • Support the development of information to promote new uses for existing products and their successful market introduction.
  • Assist the Technical Services Engineer and Technical Sales Representatives in resolving customer product problems.

Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering (civil/chemical preferred).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in French and English.
  • Knowledge of analytical techniques and instrumental analysis.
  • Knowledge and experience in cement, concrete, and/or aggregate is preferred.
  • Familiarity with basic statistical analysis and mastery of MS Office is an asset.
