Job Summary

We are seeking qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our team at PAL Technical Services. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, modifying, and repairing aircraft and related components in accordance with company and Transport Canada Regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and modify aircraft and related components in accordance with company and Transport Canada Regulations
  • Prepare aircraft for maintenance, repair, and/or modification
  • Assist with tug and towing procedures, aircraft defueling, and jacking up and down the aircraft
  • Carry out and coordinate the troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of all aircraft and aircraft components, including heavy maintenance
  • Coordinate parts and ensure sufficient tools and equipment are made available to accomplish the maintenance and inspection functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on role specifications
Requirements
  • Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or equivalent experience
  • Aircraft Maintenance License with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, the international language of aviation
  • Experience in line maintenance or heavy maintenance operations is considered an asset
  • Experience on the following aircraft is preferred: Dash 8-100/200/300 and/or Dash 8-400, ATR-42 or ATR-72
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Strong interpersonal, decision-making, organization, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations is considered an asset
  • Flexibility to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations
