Job Summary
This role is an exciting opportunity to develop your technical skills and expertise in cement and concrete products. As a Technical Services Representative, you will be responsible for analyzing and comparing concrete test results, providing feedback on product performance, and participating in cross-functional product quality committees.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and compare concrete test results with standards, tolerances, and targets to ensure product performance.
- Provide regular feedback on product performance and any deviations in results or trends to the Technical Director.
- Participate in cross-functional product quality committees and stay up-to-date on the performance of Lafarge and competitive products.
- Assist in R&D projects by coordinating product development efforts between sales and production, including the design of experiments and analysis of data for conclusions and recommendations.
- Support the development of information to promote new uses for existing products and their successful market introduction.
- Assist the Technical Services Engineer and Technical Sales Representatives in resolving regular customer product problems.
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering (civil/chemical preferred).
- Ability to communicate effectively in French and English.
- Knowledge on analytical techniques and instrumental analysis.
- Knowledge and experience in cement, concrete, and/or aggregate is preferred.
- Familiarity with basic statistical analysis and mastery of MS Office is an asset.
