We are seeking a highly skilled Cancer Registry Analyst to join our team at Ontario Health. As a key member of our Cancer Registry team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of cancer data for all Ontario residents.
Key Responsibilities- Retrieve, review, and amend cancer cases using electronic editing interfaces
- Conduct data analysis and quality assurance to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Work with various stakeholders, including healthcare providers, health information management leads, and IT contacts
- Participate in audits and quality assurance activities to ensure data quality and integrity
- Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in cancer registration and data analysis
- Certification as a Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of cancer registry experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficient in data collection software and data abstraction principles
