Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Harmony Hills Early Learning Academy and Youth Centre. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young students.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement child-care programs that meet the unique needs of each child.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans
  • Provide care and supervision to infants and toddlers
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote learning and development
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure seamless care
  • Lead activities and engage children in learning experiences
  • Encourage creativity and self-expression
  • Guide children in developing good habits and routines
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for meals and rest periods
  • Observe and report on children's progress and development
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or equivalent
  • Child Development Worker (ECE Level 2) certification
  • Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR certification
  • Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Training
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability
