About the Role

CIMC Refrigerated Trailer Co., LTD. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Welder to join our team. As a Maintenance Welder, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our welding processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and execute welding process specifications to ensure high-quality welds.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including arc welding machines, brazing machines, and gas welding machines.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate and efficient welding.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut and shape metal.
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to prepare metal for welding.
  • Fabricate or repair metal parts and products using welding machines.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding and maintenance.
  • Ability to work in a noisy and physically demanding environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and handle heavy loads.
  • Experience with oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux core arc welding (FCAW), submerged arc welding (SAW), and electron beam welding.
  • Knowledge of welding techniques, including resistance, spot, and seam welding.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
