About the Role

CIMC Refrigerated Trailer Co., LTD. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Welder to join our team in a permanent position. As a Maintenance Welder, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our manufactured products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and execute welding process specifications to meet industry standards
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment, including manual and automated systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
  • Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
  • Use flame-cutting equipment to precision-cut metal components
  • Operate metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to fabricate and repair metal parts
  • Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal components to precise specifications
  • Work with oxygen arc cutting equipment to precision-cut metal components
  • Determine the weldability of materials to ensure optimal results
  • Use welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Operate brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and seams
  • Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
