About Axios Mining Corp.

We are a leading mining corporation seeking a skilled Computer Systems Developer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Design, develop, and test software code to meet the needs of our mining operations.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain and update existing software systems to ensure they remain efficient and effective.
  • Technical Communication: Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation to support our software systems.
  • Requirements Gathering: Assist in gathering and documenting user requirements to inform software development.
  • Specifications Development: Assist in developing logical and physical specifications for software systems.
  • Research and Evaluation: Research and evaluate various software products to identify the best solutions for our needs.
Technical Requirements
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in ASP, Java, JavaScript, JSP, CSS, PHP, and HTML.
  • Software Development: Experience with software development methodologies and tools.
  • Database Management: Knowledge of database software and management systems.
  • Operating Systems: Familiarity with MS Windows and MS Office.
  • Networking: Understanding of networking software and hardware.
Work Environment
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent written communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in software development.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
