Job Title: Shipper-Receiver

Salit Steel is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipper-Receiver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine Method of Shipment: Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods to and from our facility, taking into account factors such as cost, time, and safety.
  • Schedule Distribution: Organize and prioritize the delivery of goods to meet customer deadlines and ensure timely receipt of incoming shipments.
  • Prepare Shipping Documents: Accurately complete and process bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Inspect and Verify Goods: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality, and verify against invoices and other documents.
  • Maintain Records: Accurately maintain internal record-keeping systems to track shipments, inventory, and other relevant data.
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Environment: Industrial facility or establishment, Warehouse, Manufacture, Structural steel fabrication company
