About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Capstone Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials through our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations: Manage the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
  • Material Handling: Operate a variety of equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, to move goods and materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, purchasing, and transportation, to ensure seamless execution of warehouse operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is an asset.
  • Certifications: Counterbalanced forklift training, Narrow aisle forklift training, and Forklift Operator Certification are required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads and working in a variety of temperatures. The ability to distinguish between colors and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking is essential.
