We're seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to lead our news team in Vancouver. As a key member of our editorial leadership team, you'll be responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance to our team of journalists and producers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement editorial strategies to drive engagement and growth
  • Lead the transition to a streaming-first work model and manage the Vancouver 24/7 streaming channel
  • Oversee special projects, including breaking news, prime-time specials, and election coverage
  • Collaborate with our OMNI News, RTV, and 1130 News Radio teammates in Vancouver and Canada to deliver high-quality content
  • Elevate editorial and journalistic standards for the content team
  • Work with operations and engineering teams to innovate our news production model
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience managing a TV newsroom and leading a team
  • Strong editorial vision and ability to drive content strategy
  • Experience in leading major national productions and exploring new ideas and approaches
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive teamwork
  • Deep understanding of Vancouver and its dynamic community
