About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drafting Specialist to join our team at RITO RENOVATION LTD. as a key member of our design and development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Blueprint Analysis: Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accuracy.
  • Training and Development: Train new personnel on drafting procedures and best practices.
  • Design Sketching: Develop and prepare design sketches to visualize and communicate ideas.
  • Specifications and Estimates: Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates for projects.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Write technical reports and complete documentation packages and drawing sets.
  • Quality Control: Examine drawings for conformity and errors to ensure high-quality output.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • We offer support for newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • This role does not require Canadian work experience.
Support for Youths
  • We provide on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • We offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
  • We provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
Support for Veterans
  • We provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
  • This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week.
