About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Drafting Specialist to join our team at RITO RENOVATION LTD. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, reading blueprints to determine work requirements, and training new drafting personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting
    • Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and other documents to determine work requirements.
  • Training and Development
    • Train new drafting personnel on company procedures and software.
    • Develop and maintain technical skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Documentation and Quality Control
    • Prepare and review documentation packages and drawing sets for accuracy and completeness.
    • Examine drawings for conformity and errors, and make corrections as necessary.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees

We offer support for newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, and do not require Canadian work experience.

Support for Youths

We offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, as well as mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth. We also provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.

Support for Veterans

We provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.

Work Environment

We offer a permanent work term with 30 to 40 hours per week, and work in English.
