Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at MacLeod House Baddeck.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a nursing home/home for the aged setting. This is a permanent position with a 56-hour bi-weekly schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing services to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Eligibility for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work.
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Child Abuse Registry check.
  • Immunization records.
  • Adult Abuse Registry check.
