Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at MacLeod House Baddeck.

Job Summary:

This is a permanent position that requires the successful candidate to provide nursing services to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing services to patients within defined scope of practice
  • Assess patient needs and develop care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain licensure and certification
Requirements:
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Child Abuse Registry check
  • Immunization records
  • Adult Abuse Registry check
Work Environment:

This position is located in a nursing home/home for the aged setting, requiring the successful candidate to work under pressure and be physically demanding.
