Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at MacLeod House Baddeck.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing services to patients based on assessment and care planning procedures
  • Work in a nursing home/home for the aged setting, providing care to patients with varying needs
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Child Abuse Registry check
  • Immunization records
  • Adult Abuse Registry check
