We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Roof Hound Brewing Co. Limited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory. You will also create new recipes, instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food, and supervise cooks and other kitchen staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
  • Create new recipes
  • Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food
  • Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent position
  • 35 hours per week
  • English language
