About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Maple Quality Professional Services Inc. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, such as calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and reconciling accounts.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including trial balances, income statements, and balance sheets.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all financial transactions and records are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and excellent organizational and time management skills.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.

  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
