Job Title: Automotive Strategic Alliances Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Strategic Alliances Manager to join our BlackBerry QNX Product & Strategy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, building, and maintaining a robust automotive ecosystem that strengthens and complements the BlackBerry QNX value proposition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, recruit, and manage key silicon and software partners to drive business capture.
  • Grow and manage key strategic ecosystem partner relationships.
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to align roadmap, customer programs, and opportunities.
  • Drive joint go-to-market initiatives and PR across the ecosystem to amplify BlackBerry QNX key messaging.
  • Analyze emerging market and technology trends to identify technology gaps in the BlackBerry QNX product portfolio.
  • Negotiate complex software licensing agreements to support BlackBerry QNX overall go-to-market requirements.
  • Engage with Product Management, Engineering, Legal, Sales, Finance, and other groups to manage the BlackBerry QNX ecosystem.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent technical degree or diploma program.
  • Recent automotive embedded software experience.
  • Problem-solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources.
  • Experience negotiating legal agreements.
  • Proven track record of forging and managing key relationships.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, technical marketing, or strategic alliances roles.
